BICYCLE TUBES & TIRE ACCESSORIES( Mountain, Road, BMX)

Phat Tech Tip: Presta Valve stems are skinny and have a locking valve at the top of the stem you need to release to allow air in or out. Schraeder Vlave stems are the fat ones as found on our old Schwinn Stingrays.

ULTRALIGHT TUBES: We highly recommend these tubes for cross country use. They are 20% - 60% lighter than a stadard butyl tube and most imortantly decrease rotational weight which is most critical on a bike. Make sure to never install an ultralight tube in a tire with a width greater than the tube. It will stretch the tube and sacrifice reliability.

RIM STRIPS: We highly recommend the Pedros or Velox adhesive rim tape as they offer the best protection against flats caused by tube/rim interface.
